Brownsea Training is an Advanced Course in Junior Leadership Training. It's for the Scout who has spent several successful years in a patrol leadership position or on a troop assignment, such as Librarian, Den Chief, Historian, etc., and sees himself moving-up to a troop leadership position in the senior patrol. It's often called the 'Wood Badge' for Youth Leadership, modeled after the course that Baden-Powell designed for developing leadership skills.
