This badge has brown thread. Type 4 continuous loop border narrow tans were made using a light weight loose weave base cloth. The easiest way to distinguish these from the other continuous loop narrow tans is to perform the light test. Hold the badge 3-4 ft away from a 100w light source and you will see light pass through the weave.
