Scouter's Training Award Knot

K-E02r-GP, beige fine plain weave cloth, Swiss embroidery, green knot, khaki border, gauze reinforced plastic back.

The award was called the Scouts' Award starting sometime after 1947 and by 1956 was changed back to Scouter's Training award. The award is presented to any individual in Scouting (other than th key positions for the Scouter's Key) that has completed the tenure, training, and performance for the position they hold in scouting.

The appropriate devices(s) is/are worn on the knot to depict how the award was earned. Note - multiple devices may be worn to depict the various programs the award was issued for. Devices were first authorized in 1975 for the Scouter's training award and knot. Until 1974, this award was only earned once.

During the period of 1957 - 69 the Scouter's Training award knot was discontinued. During that period of time, recipients of the Scouter's Training Award wore the Scouter's key knot without devices.
